What are some causes to knee pain?
There is always a cause to heel pain. Understanding the cause and treating this will give us the best chance to treat your condition long term instead of treating the symptoms.
A structural or functional cause could be occurring in your lower limbs therefore placing the structures around your knee under stress when you weight bear and are functional.
Some causes for heel pain include:
– Leg Length Difference
– Osseous degeneration
– Neuromuscular compensation
– Joint deformity
– Rotational Factors
– Flat feet (Pes planus)
– Forefoot deformity (eg Supinatus)
– Previous Injury
– Soft Tissue Restriction
